Jan passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Boyne One West, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Peter and Dinah, sister Mary and brother Paddy. Loving Mum of Nuala, Liam, Michael, Peter, Gráinne (Boland), Janet (Rafferty), Anthony, Eamonn and Ronan. Adored Nanny of Keith, Hannah, Ben, Jessica, Abby, Ella, Kate, Finn, Rowan, Isabel, Michael, James, Holly and Lily. She will be so missed by her heartbroken daughters and sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Sinéad, Linda, Shirley, Ruth and Joanne, sons-in-law Niall, Jody and Bruce, sisters Dinah and Betty (USA), brothers Peter, Brian and Eamonn, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, close friend Anne Morgan and all of her wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on Monday, October 27th from 3pm-8pm. Reposing for family and close friends only at her home on Tuesday, October 28th. Removal from her home on Wednesday, October 29th to the Church of the Holy Redeemer (A91 NY2Y), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).
