The Quinn Family have served the needs of the bereaved in Louth, Monaghan and the surrounding counties for three generations. The Family’s supervision of St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk, spanned three quarters of a century, creating a serene haven for reflection which is maintained to this day. The move into funeral directing came at a time when many changes were taking place in the profession. Quinn’s Funeral Home was established as a family business by Tommy Quinn in 1955 and was the first such facility in a provincial town in Ireland.

Tommy worked with his brother Mick looking after all aspects of the funeral business and together they strived to enhance the professional service they provided to the families they were privileged to serve, ensuring help, support and guidance, working in strictest confidence on behalf of their client families.

Today, the business operates from the same landmark site in Dundalk, known locally as “Quinn’s Corner”, which has been synonymous with the provision of a dignified, caring service for the past fifty years.  At Quinn’s we take pride in offering the bereaved the use of modern facilities which include private arrangement suites, tranquil modern chapels of rest and a peaceful gathering area for mourners with refreshment facilities.
