Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Moorehall Lodge, Ardee. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (née McKey, in March 2026), parents James and Mary, sisters Sr. M. Maol Mhuire and Florence (Byrne) and brother-in-law Patrick (Byrne). He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Mary and Anne (Wright), son-in-law John Wright, grandchildren James, Ellen and Patrick, sisters Sr. M. de Lourdes and Angela, brother Pat, sisters-in-law Maureen (McKey) and Kathleen (Nugent), his nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on Saturday, October 24th from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Sunday, October 25th at 1.20pm to St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridge (A91 EV56), arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Louth Cemetery.
