Peacefully, at home, in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Briege, father of John and Robert, grandfather of Ethan, “Daddy John” to Amy, Ryan and Scott, son of the late Bill and Molly, brother of Damien, James, Liam, Briege and the late Maria (Farrell), father-in-law to John’s wife Sarah and Robert’s partner Sandra and brother-in-law to Bernadette, Angela and Noel. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

John will repose in the Serenity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on Saturday June 13th from 4pm-8pm and in the Eternity Room on Sunday, June 14th from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Monday, June 15th to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church (A91 WY98), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm, followed by cremation committal in the Garden Chapel of Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin (D6W HY98).
