You rose with the dawn, steady and true,

A milkman whose work was the heart of you.

You gave with love, without display,

A quiet hero, day by day.

With rock ’n’ roll and tapping feet,

You jived through life with rhythm sweet.

That pipe in hand, a constant sight,

A part of you, both day and night.

Your laughter echoed, warm and wide,

With Mam once more now by your side.

Though we miss your voice, your gentle way,

Your love surrounds us every day.

You’re still with us — just out of sight.

Tony will always be remembered by his daughters and son Maureen, Aimelda, Anthony, Theresa and Sandra, sons-in-law Raymond and William, grandchildren Lisa, Emma, Nicola, Chloe, Anthony Jr., Evan and Rory, his great-grandchildren, brother Don, sisters Mary and Imelda, sister-in-law Emer, brother-in-law Seamus, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
