Month’s Mind | John McARDLE
Tatebane, Hackballscross, Dundalk, Louth
John’s Months Mind will be celebrated at Mass on Sunday, September 14th in the
Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Brid-a-Crin at 10am. All very welcome.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond’s glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
John will always be remembered by his wife Briege, sons and daughter Gerard, Laurence, Freda and Shane, daughters-in-law Bina and Mairead, sons-in-law Patrick and Glenn, grandchildren Jack, Liam, Gerard, Ava, Sarah, Ellen, Hannah, Lorcan, Oran and Cian, his extended family, neighbours and friends.
