Suddenly, on 14th June 2025, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and the staff of the Dundalk Care Centre. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, Bernadette, son Don, his parents Daniel and Bridget and sister Bríd. Loving Dad of Jim, Anna-Marie and Helen. Beloved grandfather of Mathieu and Gillian. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Mai and Lily, his brother Paddy, brother-in-law Brendan, his daughter-in-law Sharon, son-in-law Stéphane, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on Monday, June 16th from 3pm-7pm. Funeral Mass in celebration of Donal’s life will take place in St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown (Eircode A91XH75) on Tuesday, June 17th at 3pm. Private cremation will follow.
