Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Carlingford Nursing Home. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Margaret (nee O’Hare) and brother of Mary (Morgan) and the late John, Gerard, Eamon, Lucy (Clyne) and Matt. He will be deeply mourned by his sister, sisters-in-law Betty and May, nieces Carmel and Sheila and all of his nieces and nephews, the wider family circle, his good friends, Cardinal Brady, Archbishop Martin, Bishop Router, the priests of the Archdiocese of Armagh and his devoted parishioners in Cooley and those other parishes where he ministered through 60 years of priestly life.

 

Requiescat in Pace

 

Fr. Tommy’s remains will repose, for family and close friends only, from 2pm-9pm on Friday, 19th January, at the family home in Blackgate, Ravensdale, with removal on Saturday, January 20th, at 3pm, when the cortège will travel via St. Anne’s Church, Mullaghbuoy and the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Boher, arriving to St. James’ Church, Grange, at 4.30pm approx.. in advance of the celebration of Mass at 5pm. The family will be in attendance to receive condolences following the Mass until 8pm at Fr. Tommy’s reposal in the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, January 21st, at 2pm, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, Ravensdale.
