Jim THORNTON

Hawthorn Crescent, Bay Estate and formerly Grange, Knockbridge, , Dundalk, Louth

 

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Jim is predeceased by his parents Rose and Joe and sister Rose O’Connor. He will be forever loved and sadly missed by his adoring wife Bernadette (nee McCartney), cherished children Mary, Gerard, James and Margaret, sons-in-law Noel Kierans, Eamonn Smith and Niall Boyle, brother John, sisters Mary Bellew and Kathleen Lennon, brothers-in-law Stephen, Thomas and Seán, sisters-in-law Kathleen Mc Cartney, Bernadette Mc Cartney, Kathleen Mc Cartney, and Mary Mc Clintock, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52) on both Monday, December 18th and Tuesday December 19th from 3pm-7pm. Removal on Wednesday, December 20th at 10.15am, via Grange, Knockbridge, to St. Michael’s Church, Darver,(Eircode A91 K236), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
