Rosella McCANN (née McKenna)

Glenmore, Riverstown, Dundalk, Louth

 

Peacefully, in her 93rd year, in the dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital , Dundalk. Predeceased by her beloved husband Owen, parents James and Alice, brothers Paddy, Seán and Mickey and sisters Kathleen, Mia, Annie and her twin sister Annie Mary, who died in infancy. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons Michael, Seamus, Eugene, Paddy, Seán, Paul, Joseph and Francis, daughters-in-law Brigid, Ann, Eileen, Linda, Una, Margaret and Lorraine, brother Francie, sisters-in-law Grace and Bridget, her 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Removal from Quinn’s Funeral Home, Dundalk on Saturday evening, October 21st at 4.45pm , driving via her home to the residence of her son Joseph, Castletowncooley (A91 HY62)  to repose there for family and friends on Sunday, 22nd from 2pm-9pm Removal on Monday, 23rd to St. Anne’s Church, Mullaghbuoy (Eircode A91 VH98), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Grange Cemetery.

The family wish to acknowledge the exceptional consideration and care they and Rosella experienced from the Home-care Team and the Palliative Care Team, doctors, nurses and staff at Louth County Hospital.  Their dedication will be a constant comfort to us.
